Hello, and welcome to the Crappy Pony Website Contest!
My name is Baby Toilette, and I would like to introduce you to the Guidelines of this contest!

The Concept

You design a Crappy Pony Website!  The idea is to make the WORST pony site ever!  You may include such horrors of the web as loud, hideous backgrounds, annoying animated gifs, horrific background music that the viewer cannot turn off without switching off his speakers, tastefully placed grammar and spelling errors, and annoying Javascripts!  The idea is to make it OFFENSIVE and BAD!  If you've ever wanted to VENT publicly about pony types you hate, NOW is the time to do it!!

Make sure your site has some sort of central theme or purpose.  Naturally it should be terrible, but at least organize it around some central horror, for instance, you could make a crappy pony auction page where the only things for sale are fake My Little Pony rip-offs listed under real pony names!

Rules

The site you submit should NOT be your actual website, or one that is near and dear to your heart.  These sites WILL BE BASHED, and your feelings should not be hurt by the bashing of the site you submit!  This contest is not for those with weak constitutions.  Please do not enter if you cannot handle the type of humor that this contest requires.

Please submit your page to the contest by sending the link via email to Baby Toilette as soon as possible.  A deadline will be fixed soon.

Submit the "entry fee."  This is a "mystery prize" of your choice.  If you choose to enter more than one crappy site to the contest, please submit a prize for each site.  The mystery prize should be the sort of thing you'd expect to receive in a Dud Gift Exchange.  It should be something with some intrinsic value, but something you would not want to get for a holiday gift.  For example, you might submit a set of cheap pencils or a roll of toilet paper as your mystery prize.  If possible, you should submit a photo or scan of the wrapped mystery prize.  Prizes will be awarded in the format of a Dud Gift Exchange at the end of the contest.

A message board will be established for your crappy site.  You MUST link your site to this message board in order to be included in the contest.  This board will be the center for all your scoring and judging.

Sites will be judged by the general public.  People will use the message boards established for each site to submit scores on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the absolute most TERRIBLE pony site they've ever seen, and  10 being excellent.  If you are in the contest, you want your score to be as LOW as possible!

The ranking will be averaged out and everyone will receive a placement in the list of crappy sites.  At this time, the top ranked site owner (that is, the person with the WORST site) will choose a mystery prize submitted by another site owner based on a number assigned to the prizes.  Then the second place winner will choose from the remaining prizes and so on.  After all prizes are chosen, the prize senders and recipients will exchange addresses and mail out the prizes in a Dud Gift Exchange format.

If you live in a country other than the US and are worried about participating due to high shipping costs, you can choose to form a separate gift exchange group from the rest of the players.  For example, if four players from Australia decide that they want to exchange gifts among themselves only, they will be allowed to do so.  Their sites will still be ranked along with the rest; however, they will ultimately only send their prizes to each other and in that way, save on shipping.

Remember also that prizes need not be expensive, they can even be items that have been sitting on your trade list for ages that you want to get rid of!  Think about that pile of 25 extra Baby Stockings when you sign up for the contest ;^).
